Boys' Hockey Update (Wednesday)

Boys' hockey is permitted to start up again on Sunday 3/14. 

We will be practicing on 3/14, 3/15 and 3/16 and have our first game 3/17.  Every player needs 6 practices to play in games.  If the current plan stands -- if you have missed one practice to this point you will can NOT miss 3/14, 3/15 or 3/16 to play 3/17.

Next Year

I wanted to inform everybody that I have decided to not coach SLP next season.  It was always a 2-3 year plan for me after coaching Lake Placid for 14 years.  My goal was to help establish SLP with a strong organizational foundation, camaraderie and winning spirit.   I hope that was accomplished.  I am sure Mr Burdick and Mr Bennett will be successful in establishing a strong coaching staff for the future.  Thank-you to all in the SLP family for your support and best of luck in the future to the players.  I look forward to watching games as a fan.
