Team Trip to Section I - Important Information
Players & Parents:
1. The bus leaves for all players and coaches from ORDA at 7:45AM on Friday.
2. Players need to bring something to eat because our first meal is at 3:00 PM. Bring a lunch.
3. No NUTS of any kind can be brought on the bus.
4. Team jackets are being completed but won't be ready until next week. Please wear team jacket or a nice jacket if yours is not in.
5. Dress comfortably for the ride to West Point. At West Point, we will ask that players wear a nice pair of pants because on the tour we will exit the bus as a team to tour different parts of the academy.
6. Food. Meals are covered with the exception if players want to buy food/drink at Islanders' game.
7. Games at Brewster Ice Arena are available on Live Barn https://livebarn.com/
SCHOOL & TEAM GUIDELINES:
1. This trip is a privilege. Many people and businesses in the communities have helped in donating funds so we can have this excellent, team opportunity. Player behavior should be impeccable, demonstrating they understand this trip is indeed a privilege.
2. Players must stay in assigned hotel room (no switching)
3. Players can ONLY be in their room. No hanging in others' room.
4. No wandering in the hotel. Our time is structured.
5. When at Nassau Colosseum coaches will be in charge of certain players and we will use the buddy system.
6. A coach is required to ride near the back of the bus. Each coach will also be in charge of two rooms to monitor.
7. We will wear shirt and tie to both games. Otherwise, players can dress neat, casual.
